Face to Face: Pore Minimalizer

I don't know about you but I totally love it when some of my fellow bloggers do a "splurge or save" post. I have found some pretty amazing products this way! Since I enjoy these kind of posts so much I thought it would be fun to bring them to my site! I will be focusing on beauty products that share the same claim to fame and put them "face to face" against one another.

Pore minimalizer: okay, so here's the thing I honestly never noticed that I even had pores until I got a free sample of The Porefessional by Benefit Cosmetics. Holy cow does this stuff make a difference! It really is life changing. The price is a little steep (about $30) for something that is just going to help blend your little pores, regardless, I decided that I needed to go back and make the full-size purchase! After months of loving this product Maybelline came out with their own spin on the product called Baby Skin for a fraction of the cost (about $6). I adore Maybelline (they have very rarely let me down) so of course I had to try it out!

Both products work wonders. Benefit's product is a little smoother (more of a cream base) and has a nude tint to it, which blends really well. (I have normal skin: not dry or oily, so I am not sure how this product works for other skin types). It is super light-weight, once it has been applied you don't feel it at all. It almost gives your face an airbrushed look! Baby Skin works the same magic, but the product itself is clear and it isn't as smooth and creamy since it has more of a gel consistency. Since both products provide such similar results I would definitely save some $$ and go with Baby Skin!
